At Westview, we believe in the power of music to bring us closer to God and to one another. This year, we are excited to invite children from all families—whether you're currently attending church or not—to be a part of our Kids' Choir!

Any child who loves to sing and wants to be a part of something special! No prior experience is required—just a heart to share in the joy of worship.

Our Kids' Choir will perform on Sunday, December 22nd service to share their music with the congregation!

We would love to welcome you and your child to this fun, musical experience that celebrates faith, family, and community.

Join us for a candlelight Christmas Eve service full of music, prayer, readings, and a message of hope!

The service will be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook.

We anticipate many from the community visiting with us for the Christmas Eve service. We have arranged some off site parking locations within walking distance of the church. If you are able, please consider arriving early & parking in one of these locations:

BrightStart Canada Fundraiser

BrightStart, one of the ministries Westview supports, provides disadvantaged students in developing countries with educational opportunities and assistance to help them reach their full potential as productive adults and leaders.

They are hosting a fundraiser partnering with La Plantation, a fair trade spice company in Cambodia to raise funds for the young women staying at the Mary Blackwell Scholarship Home while they’re studying in Battambang.

Come and hear more about BrightStart’s ministry in the service.

Join us for our annual general meeting to hear about what God has been doing at Westview.

  • A financial report from our Treasurer

  • A chance to ask financial or general questions

  • Voting on motions for the 2023-24 budget, officiants, directors, and our auditing firm

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

Every year we pack shoeboxes full of toys, toiletries, school supplies, other personal care items, and a personalized note for children around the world who would not otherwise receive a gift this Christmas. These boxes are used as an opportunity to share the gospel with these children. You can fill a box or boxes on your own, or with co-workers, classmates, neighbours, or any other group of people you can gather.

Some important dates to remember:

  • October 6 - shoeboxes are available at Westview

  • November 10 - bring your boxes to church and place up front in the sanctuary

  • November 17 - prayer for the shoeboxes as they’re sent out

  • Final return dates:

    • Wednesday, Nov 20, 3 - 9 pm
      Thursday, Nov 21, 5-9 pm
      Friday, Nov 22, 5-9 pm

The team is looking for volunteers to help receive shoeboxes from the community and get them ready for to be shipped! If you’d like to help out, email Lucy.

Alpha is a chance for you to ask the big questions that you might have been wondering about for a long time. Each session includes a meal, a short video, and some small group discussion where no question is off limits. It’s a casual, relaxed environment where you can connect with others who are asking similar questions to yours without judgment. And it’s all completely free!

Join us for a time of hanging out, eating food and playing games!
